How to Get Flu Relief Using Essential Oils

To find flu relief is not always easy making your own essential oil blends can help you do the trick.  Over the years, I have come to trust these blends as a first line of defense.  This recipe using Lavender and Clove essential oils always seem to do the trick.  The key is to begin the regiment at immediately before the flu sets in. Experience flu relief powerful combination of Clove and Lavender. A few drops is all you need.

Flu Relief Essential Oil Recipes

Ingredients

Essentials:  Lavender, Clove , and Thyme

Flu Tea

1 drops Clove Essential Oil
2 drop Lavender Essential Oil
3 cups hot water
3 teaspoon honey

Room Spray
5 drops Lavender Essential Oil
5 drops Thyme Essential Oil
1 cup water

Diffuser

Use equal parts of Lavender and Thyme Essential Oils

Preparation

  1. Tea: Blend the Clove and Lavender essential oils together in a small glass container.  This blend makes three cups of tea.
  2. Add blend to 3 cups of  water and add honey.
  3. Sip slowly throughout the day until finished.
  4. Repeat as necessary.

For enhanced protection, diffuse Lavender and Thyme essential oils throughout your bedroom and/or living area.  You can also make use the Lavender and Thyme Essential Oils room spray recipe solution instead.

Quick Tips

The key is to apply this method upon the first sign or symptoms of the flu.

  1. If you wish to make one cup of tea at a time, use one drop of the blended oil with 1 cup of water and one teaspoon honey.
  2. Stay hydrated; drink plenty of water.
  3. Keep bowel free.
  4. Get plenty rest.

Note:  As a personal rule, For any sign of viral or bacterial attack, I take 1 tablespoon of activated charcoal before bed and 1 tablespoon first thing in the next morning, mixed in 1 cup of water or orange juice. When using activated charcoal, please take 2-3 hours before or after and medication.
